Since I didn't live here during the '98 Ice Storm, I hadn't experienced the constant popping and cracking you hear during an otherwise silent night; each pop or crack a tree coming down! We have two trees down in our yard, and another resting on our bedroom roof. I moved my computer in the middle of the night just in case limbs decided to break through the window. Gotta save the technology!
I told my boys it's wild that they have experienced a bit of a natural disaster with no power during a worldwide pandemic. Just wanted to document this day to look back on!
